A leading producer of make to specification building & construction products has a position available for an Account Manager to service key metropolitan customers.

Reporting to the NSW Sales Manager, your role will involve:

 

- coordination of product requirements for special projects with local government, capital works contractors, specifiers, sub-division consultants, builders and re-sellers.

- growing & maintaining business relationships with major accounts.

 

The person we seek would have:

 

- 3 or more years of account management sales experience in the building & construction sector.

- a consultative relationship sales & service outlook.

- ability to read drawings and absorb basic technical concepts. The company has strong engineering resources to draw on, so formal technical qualifications are not mandatory.

- ablity to manage all aspects of the sales process, from supply briefing through to on-time delivery.

- laptop computer literacy.

- good people & communication skills.
