This international 3rd party logistics group has an outstanding opportunity for a Business Development Manager with supply chain & logistics industry experience.
Reporting to a Regional Sales Director overseas, your focus will be to develop and expand the company's logistics services to new and existing customers.
Based at the group's Sydney base facility, you will actively Account Manage the implementation of new projects in liaison with your Clients, the National Operations Manager and the support team. The company is an end to end service provider and is fully equipped to interface with virtually any client data system.
The person we seek would have:
- strong business development skills.
- a proven track record in winning new business and managing clients.
- supply chain & logistics experience and connections.
- understanding of client drivers, wants & needs.
- knowledge of end to end supply chain process.
- knowledge of international freight forwarding.
- high business acumen, ideally supported by tertiary qualifications in logistics, marketing or commerce.
- strong interpersonal & presentation skills.
- ability to develop & nurture strong client relationships.
- availability for domestic and international business travel at short notice.
