A manufacturer & supplier of specialty products to food manufacturers around Australia and the Asia Pacific region has a position for a National Sales Manager. 

Reporting to the CEO and a key member of the senior management team, your focus will be to:

 

- Lead and develop a small team of sales specialists.

- Control sales activity and business development strategy to meet revenue and profit targets.

- Maintain, develop and expand business relationships with a broad range of multinational, franchiser and SME account clients.

- Provide strategic input to the management team.

 

The person we seek for this challenging role will have:

 

- Extensive Sales experience in consumer products, with in-depth exposure to food products at senior sales & key account level.

- Several years' experience in national and State Sales Management roles.

- Degree and/or Tertiary business or commerce qualifications.

- Specific additional sales & management training.

- Strong people & communication skills.

- An outgoing personality and proactive, can-do style.

- Availability for regular interstate business travel and occasional overseas trips.

 

Salary package is negotiable in the range $120-$160k including executive benefits.
