6-12 Month Contract with potential
A global OEM export company located just south of Sydney has a unique 6-12 month contract role available for a qualified industrial Mechanical Engineer. The business has a strong commitment to quality and innovation in sophisticated capital equipment design and production.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this key position will provide Engineering development and technical support to manufacturing, sales and external clients throughout Australia and SE Asia. Your duties will include engineering systems maintenance, product development coordination and provision of technical advice on parts and equipment servicing.
The person we seek will be Degree or Diploma qualified in Mechanical Engineering and have at least 3 year's industrial experience, ideally including design and production of electro-mechanical equipment in an ISO 9001:2008 accredited environment. Familiarity with the use and applications of AutoDesk Inventor 3D modelling software would be a well regarded plus. You are intelligent and enthusiastic, are proficient in the use of computer software, have good people and communication skills, and have the capacity to work independently with internal & external clients as a technical representative of the company team.
This position has an initial 6-12 month term, with potential for extension. A competitive salary is negotiable according to qualifications & experience, and will include staff benefits.
